Martina Cutajar (MA)
Senior ESG Advisor – ARQ Group

Martina Cutajar has a background in biology and a Master degree from the University of Malta. She served as Malta’s first Marine Park Site Manager, where she successfully drafted the park’s Management Plan and led stakeholder consultations, including with government agencies, to ensure long-term sustainability.

Martina’s transition into the ESG space was driven by her deep belief that industries, including gaming and corporate sectors, play a pivotal role in achieving global sustainability goals. Her main focus now is to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into core business strategies. She works closely with organisations to help them navigate the complexities of ESG frameworks, enhance transparency, and build resilience through responsible governance and ethical business practices.

Passionate about sustainability and social impact, Martina believes that gaming and corporate industries are key players in shaping a more sustainable future, and she is dedicated to supporting these sectors in making meaningful ESG contributions.

 

Ramona Galea MBA (Henley); MA
Director – ARQ Advisory

Ramona Galea is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 25 years experience working in diverse industries, mostly fast paced, multi-cultural environments. She has notable experience leading and motivating dynamic teams and implementing efficient processes while optimising business results. Her resolve lies in being a firm advocate for today’s ever increasingly important soft skills and how these, together with an organisation’s core values, add value and drive success. Charles Xuereb B.A (Hons) Accty, CPA, FIA, MIM
CEO – Trident Estates plc

Charles Xuereb began his career as an auditor at a Big Four firm, later joining Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. He served in various roles, including Group CFO and board member for multiple companies.

In 2017, he became CEO of Trident Estates plc, a listed property group on the Malta Stock Exchange. Charles holds a degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta, is a CPA, a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. He is involved in various professional groups including the International Federation of Accountants, the Professional Accountants in Business within MIA and serves as President of the Malta Association of Credit Management since 2013.
