COURSE OVERVIEW

More data is being generated than ever before with emerging ways to use, store and steal this data. In light of this, regulations have been established that place obligations on companies and public bodies to protect our privacy. Nowadays, no matter what industry you work in, data protection and privacy matters have never been more important.

This course will give you a base understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the obligations they place on organisations and their employees.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This course has relevance for every business and their staff handling personal data of customers or employees located in the EU. It can help organisations achieve, maintain and demonstrate suitable levels of privacy and data protection awareness as is required by the GDPR.

A workforce which has received this training will help minimise the risks of a breach at your organisation and mitigate the financial, compliance and reputational impact in case a breach strikes.
